Being in the top 1% of Canada

As some of you know, I had the privilege of attending my first Royal LePage National Chairman’s Club Retreat last month in Portugal. This event is only open to the top 1% of Royal LePage agents across Canada. Being my first time attending the event, I really had no idea what to expect and I wondered how I might fit in with such an elite group of people. What impressed me most was how welcoming and inclusive everyone was. I found it incredibly helpful and inspiring to connect with these remarkable people and it was interesting to see that we all share some common characteristics as agents:
- We are very committed to our professions and we work VERY hard for our clients.
- We are aware of the challenges of this industry and do not take for granted for being at the top of our game.
- We all see the importance of growth and want to share and learn from one another.
This last characteristic is what resonated most with me and was my biggest takeaway from this retreat. I was provided with the opportunity to learn from and share ideas with the top real estate agents in Canada. I loved learning about other people’s businesses, hearing what worked for them (and what didn’t) in 2019. It was amazing to connect with some of the real estate “legends” who were in attendance, people I have always admired professionally and to collaborate with them. The five-day trip felt like an extended mastermind session and I came back buzzing with so many ideas on how to serve our clients better than ever.
When I returned from my trip, I started to reflect on how we got here. One thing that became clear to me, that I believe separates us from our competitors, is how much we value creating authentic long-term relationships with our clients. We have never been about “making the sale”. We are genuine in wanting what’s best for our clients. We would never push our clients into making a decision and have always taken the long-term view on the importance of educating our clients to making the best financial decisions for themselves – and that will never change.
We are committed to building solid real estate relationships that last for decades, not days. We also will never take for granted your partnership and the faith you have in us to help you reach your real estate goals.
