Happy January from the Toronto Home Experts Team!

Toronto’s Real Estate Market has roared into 2021 making headlines everywhere. Still deemed to be an essential service, real estate in Toronto is almost business-as-usual but with safety protocols despite Ontario’s current stay-at-home order. Not only do buyers continue to flock to the outskirts of the GTA, seeking to upsize into more space, the downtown condo market has been buzzing with quick and over-asking sale stats as of late. Houses under $1M are seeing multiple offers to levels we’ve never experienced before, sometimes with jaw-dropping numbers like 77 offers on a single property. Buyers are certainly still seeking to lock in today’s low interest rates but competition is fierce. It will be very interesting to see January’s numbers once they are published – be sure to tune into Alex’s breakdown of the statistics once they are out.
