Our Experience: Chubby's is Alex’s favourite Jamaican restaurant in Toronto. The restaurant serves great seafood options such as the pan-seared red snapper or the curried shrimp, however the restaurant is well known for the jerk chicken (which really is the highlight). The jerk chicken takes takes four days to prepare: brined for 24 hours, dry-rubbed, and left to dry before getting barbecued over maple wood (hmmmm so tasty!). Be sure to save room for dessert, the passion fruit and coconut cream pie which is delicious and is a nice counter balance from some of the zestier main dishes.
