Activity in Canada’s winter recreational home markets has cooled from pandemic-era highs with fewer buyers putting pen to paper and inventory levels rising modestly, amid concerns over rising interest rates and the higher cost of living. With borrowing rates widely expected to remain stable or dip slightly next year, property prices for homes in Canada’s sought-after winter playgrounds are expected to rise marginally.

Our Experience: Aloette Restaurant is relaxed and casual and features both counter and booth seating to give the restaurant that diner vibe. With only 38 seats, the restaurant is definitely cozy, but what stands out is the food. The Aloette Burger with triple cooked fries is one of their most popular items and stacks up against some of the top burgers in the city. The crispy butternut squash and the iceberg wedge salads are two great starters. The grass-fed ribeye steak is truly excellent and the roasted branzino is also not to be missed. The lemon meringue pie is their signature desert and absolutely delicious. A review of Aloette Restaurant would not be complete without acknowledging the excellent and attentive service in the restaurant which is why its still one of my favourite spots to eat in the city
